Science Fun

Today we learned a lot about washing rocks. We learned that rocks changed colors in the water. Some rocks can break down in the water. Rocks are different shapes and sizes. Some rocks have holes. Some rocks get shiny. Rocks have different colors when they get wet. The water gets dirty when we put the rocks in the water. Some rocks are smooth and some rocks are rough. In a volcano rock bubbles came out when we put it in the water. The rocks looked bigger when we put them in the water. When we took the rocks out of the water they felt colder than when we put them in the water. We liked experimenting with the rocks. We are going to do more experiments tomorrow. We wish you could have joined us today. It was a lot of fun.

This week we are learning about rocks in science. We are practicing our reading skills. Kindness is very important to remember. We earn kindness strips when we show kindness and good manners at school. We are going to learn about temperature in math. We just learned about fact families in math. In spelling we are learning about silent E at the end of words. We are also learning about different types of media. That is why we are starting this blog. This is one form of media.
